Happy, happy birthday, Alison, dear! I hope that your day was wonderful! We wish we could have celebrated with you! {why didn't we think of celebrating while you were here??} I told Jacob last night that it was going to be her birthday, and the first thing he said when he woke up this morning, "Call Alison. Happy Birthday?" He has been talking about Alison all of the time!

Thank you! I had a great birthday and I wish you all could have been here! But it was nice to talk to you and Erin on the phone. Thank you both for the wonderful gift- I love all of it! Tell Jacob hi for me- and the other kids. We had so much fun. I wish we lived closer together and saw you more!
