Macie is baptized!

On September 20th, Macie chose to be baptized! It was a very special and important day for her! She has been so so so excited about it for months and months. Really since Noah was baptized! We have had several Family Home Evening lessons about baptism, and she was ready. We picked out her dress a while ago and it has sat in her closet. Every so often I would catch her just looking at it, holding it up to her in the mirror. She was so excited. I added a ribbon to her dress. This ribbon is the same ribbon that was on her blessing dress. I hope to also put that same ribbon on her wedding bouquet. Sure, it's a cheap simple white ribbon, but it will mean something more later. A tradition that we finally started!

Of course, we were late getting to the church. Nothing was set up. It was ridiculous. We had to set up the chairs, find a piano, get the dessert table ready, and get her ready. Needless to say, it did not turn out how I had envisioned. But, you know what, oh well. She was still baptized and it was a great day!

I can't believe she is already 8. I swear I just barely brought her home from the hospital! I remember it so well! However, I have brought home three others!

She is such a great girl! And a big example to everyone. She has a heart of gold. She is so happy! Although dramatic at times, she is still very sweet and loves life! She is a great little missionary, too. We love you Macie Alida!
