T-ball season has officially started. But, instead of the Angels like last year, Noah's team is the A's. And, instead of being the "Bad News Bears" team, they look pretty official! Last year they just wore jeans or shorts or whatever, which was fine. We actually thought it was funny that parents went all out for their children in T-ball, they are only little. And then we gave in. We splurged on the extra twenty bucks for cleats, baseball pants, socks and a belt. I'm glad we did. He does look pretty awesome in his baseball get up! The best thing about it is that HE loves it. He thinks he's pretty darn cool. And he is. Even without it.
Last year there was a lot of drawing in the dirt on Noah's part. But, this year he's a little more focused. He even made a play, and {if there were outs} got the kid out on first! His batting has also improved, he's got a lot more power in his swing! The tee throws him off a bit, he may do better without it!
We've got a few more month of t-ball season. Ours will be over before many of your even start! We love California! The games only last an hour, and if they were any longer, I'm pretty sure the attention span would be depleted! One hour is perfect for these kids! And especially for Jacob and Macie who go a little crazy because they aren't the ones playing! Jacob tried to walk on the field a few times. He really wants to play ball, but he's got a good three more years! Noah and his team are awesome!
Go A's!
